The Applied Mathematics Conference in the Araucanía Region is an activity that wants to link applied mathematics the territory of the region and society with its development needs. Some topics to be addressed are examples of mathematical modeling and metacognition during the modeling process, with specific examples such as mathematical ecology from the perspective of bacterial biophysics, and general reflections such as on the truth in mathematics between science and belief.
