Academic Committee
The Academic Committee is the organ of government of all the postgraduate department of the Catholic University of Temuco.
Functions of the Academic Committee
In accordance with the General Regulation of Graduate (Decree 163/10), Article 13, the Academic Committee is the highest authority collegium of this Graduate Program. Which shall meet at least two times per semester, recording in the minutes the content of the session, which must be signed by all of its members.
The Academic Committee of the Master's degree of Applied Mathematics is constituted by three academic/ace of the Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, and two scholars belonging to the other Departments of the Faculty of Engineering. To be a member of the Academic Committee, the professional must have at least 1 year as a professor of the program. Will preside over the Committee of Academic Director of the Program.
The functions of the Academic Committee are:
- to. Ensure compliance with the internal regulations of the program and of the general regulations of the graduate school.
- b. To ensure the proper implementation of the curriculum.
- c. Monitor the compliance of the academic assessments.
- d. Propose to Address Graduate modifications to the plan of studies.
- e. Propose to Address Graduate, directors of AFE.
- f. Approve the projects of AFE and to ensure the compliance of their implementation deadlines.
- g. To resolve the allocation of scholarships and send to the Address Graduate, for your approval.
- h. Resolve differences between directors of AFE and students, and may change the principal in the case that appropriate.
- i. Resolve any other situation not described in this listing, for the proper functioning of this Graduate Program.
